Ain't Too Proud National Broadway Tour

I served as Assistant Stage Manager on the 2nd National Tour of Ain’t Too Proud, a Tony Award-winning Broadway musical. My responsibilities included running deck tracks, calling the show in the PSM’s absence, and ensuring smooth backstage operations across a fast-paced, touring environment. Joining mid-tour, I quickly integrated into the company, managed cueing for complex musical sequences, and collaborated closely with performers, creatives, and crew to maintain the integrity of the production at every stop. This experience was a milestone in my career—my first national Broadway tour—and deepened my expertise in large-scale stage management, high-stakes live performance, and cross-departmental communication on the road.
